NIM Bal Sangati Running Cup 2009

NIM Bal sangati Running Cup 2009 began on the 4th of July 2009 and ended in 25th July 2009. It was organized with the view to encourage fellowship among the four different branches of Nepal Isai Mandali. NIM- Gyaneswor, NIM- Lalitpur, NIM-Gongabu and NIM-Jorpati all enthusiastically participated in the competition. According to the child development process the age group of 13-15 is very competitive and always keen to participate in team games. So regarding their child development process the Inter Bal Sangati football tournament was organized.

The final game was held at the St Xavier’s School, Jawalakhel’s football ground. Though only NIM Jorpati and NIM Lalitpur made it to the final, all the four team enthusiastically participated in their allocated game and gave glory to God. On the final day of the competition two matches were played. A friendly game between NIM Gyaneswor and NIM Gongabu was organized before the much-awaited final game. NIM Gyaneswor won the first game by 1 goal. Jeewan Rai was the official referee for the match.

NIM Lalitpur had won all of its previous games and was on the top of the list with 9 points. NIM Lalitpur scored 2 goals on the 1st half. NIM Jorpati also managed to score a goal during the 2nd half making the score 2-1. By the end of the game NIM Lalitpur managed to score 2 more goals thus making the final score of the game 4-1. Alan Rongong was the official referee of the game.

Certificates were distributed to all the participants by Pastor Ashok Mukhia, Pastor Samuel Karthak, Deacon Dil Thapa, Deacon Simon Khaling and Deacon Shyam Ranjit. Pastor Dr Rajendra Kumar Rongong came forward to congratulate the winning and the participating teams. “Jeet Kasko? NIM ko!” – Slogan was chanted 3 times and then he thanked all the players. He handed over the trophy to the winning team NIM Lalitpur and the program ended with a prayer of gratitude to God.
