NIM Sundarijal Inauguration

[singlepic id=224 w=320 h=240 float=right]Yesterday, August 9th 2009, was yet another cause for celebration for us at Nepali Isai Mandali as we had the inauguration service of another daughter church, this time at Sundarijal.
Pastor S. Sodemba of NIM Jorpati church began with a prayer and reading a passage from the word of God before cutting the ribbon and opening the door of the new church hall. Reverend Robert Karthak gave the sermon to the assembled congregation of the newly established NIM Sundarijal Church.
The NIM Jorpati choir led the congregation in praise and worship and performed songs for the special occasion. Kanchha Tamang, one of the oldest Christians from the Sundarijal fellowship shared his testimony and Deacon Sagar Thapa of NIM Jorpati church told the gathering about the beginning of the Sundarijal Fellowship and its journey to becoming the NIM Sundarijal church.
Neighbors from the locality were invited to the event by the church leadership and the church and locals celebrated with some refreshment prepared by the church.
